This workshop is intended to explore the value and impact that data analytics have made in industrial environments with specific examples from nuclear generation, electrical grids, renewable generation and the oil and gas industry.
The focus will be on the specific lessons learned in an industrial environment, from challenges around data management to deploying analytics in operational and engineering environments. The workshop will allow the exploration of the role of data science and data engineering within an industrial environment, and will explore the unique cost, risk and operational issues that need to be addressed. Successful case studies of deployment will be presented and demonstrated.
