The impact of Digital Transformation on public services and utilities is leading to a wave of change and innovation in Cities, Utilities and Transport Systems. Innovate UK and KTN are facilitating events to create awareness and understanding of these changes and the opportunities that are emerging in engaging more directly with service users. At the heart of these services lies the use of data to inform and guide changes and understanding. These data may be harvested from legacy infrastructure systems, from new sensor networks and from information services offered by data utilities. This workshop will look at the use of data from public services and utility systems and describe methods of analysis and understanding that can underpin changes in service delivery and usage. It will feature some case studies from Scottish Public Sector bodies and examples of best practice already in place across the UK. The Target audience is officers working in Public Sector or Utility businesses, particularly in Cities or Utilities.
